I got some great ideas for smoothies and have tried out a few. I’m still honing the recipes to make them both tasty and lower calorie but my favourite so far is of course involving peanut butter – its almond milk, peanut butter, some flax seed, vanilla protein powder, and a tiny bit of agave. Yum. Another one is coconut milk, raspberries, protein powder, and again agave. I’ve ordered some “supergreens” powder from Holland and barrett to try and get a bit more nutrition in them.
No gym attendance yet but I’ve started thinking about it which is something lol. I just feel exhausted and more so since going to London for the day for IMATS. It gets to the end of my working day and instead of my usual pattern of getting straight on to my You Tube and website stuff or photography learning, I’ve been laying on the couch and snoozing till Kev’s comes home. That then stresses me out as I feel like I’m being lazy, but I think that my body is just still run down after the chest infection.
Its nearly time for me to give my decision to my employers so hopefully I will soon know my leaving date, woohoo! I’m so excited about knowing when my new life will start. Everyone I know is urging me to take a month off at the start to just chill out and I may just do that. I’m not 100% sure though, because if I’m to pursue the photography thing, I need to start getting photos for a portfolio and get the free ones out of the way for experience. Then I can start building a business and that takes time. Still, I could spend that month clearing stuff out and preparing for the photography, so buying a new computer & software etc, getting the garden more photo ready etc.
IMATS was great fun but the best part for me is getting to use all the goodies I bought. I can actually feel my own excitement getting me out of bed quicker in the morning when I remember that I have new makeup to play with!
