Ok, so I feel like I might be getting somewhere in my quest to have a routine and a plan for puppy. Nearly. He had a taster session this week at a new daycare centre and that went well – he played in the sandpit and paddling pool and met another doodle to romp with and the best part is they are open from 7am to 6pm, so great hours and also a great price. We are also interviewing another dog walker on Saturday so fingers crossed.
The plan is going to be – Monday in daycare so that I get one day to “do stuff” like go shopping or clean the house etc, and then Tues/Wed the dog walker will take him. Thursday Kev works at home so will do the walks etc and Friday I’m setting up a regular play date with his best pal Dixie.
My only and biggest concern is that it takes 3 to 4 walks to keep him calm and under control but I don’t want him to get used to that many walks a day as we may not always be able to maintain it. Ideally 2 long walks a day is what we’d like to schedule. Just now though, he’d be constantly stealing things and looking for activity if we did that!
If you follow me on Facebook or Pinterest, Instagram etc, you will have seen me posting some photos of my little guy with props and also some beautiful photos of the two of us together. I’ve been trying to think of things that can make dog photography creative without putting them in any discomfort. So far I have a sun hat, sunglasses, a tie, and a shirt.
