I read about this in a magazine long before it was out in the shops, which is often the annoying case lol. There are 4 colours to choose from and I picked up two – Cocoricorail (some name eh!) which is a light coral and Pink Twice which is a light pink. I wish I’d picked up the Berry shade to be honest, as due to them being a cream blush I put them on underneath my bronzer and powder etc so need a brighter colour to show through.
I’m not a fan of cream or liquid blush to be honest, because it confuses my usual makeup routine of powder, bronzer, then blush. If I put it on over bronzer and powder it just looks odd. The time I don’t mind a cream blush is when I’m not wearing foundation but am throwing on some colour and basic makeup, and to be honest with you that doesn’t happen much!
I bought these to review for my “New at the drugstore” video on my You Tube channel, and have used them both. The pump dispenses quite a lot of product so be gentle, and the colour is very light so I would recommend trying the berry colour first.
Staying power of 12 hours? I can’t say, but the faint colour did still show at the end of 7 hours when I checked. It blends well and feels nice on the skin. I think if you like cream/liquid blush you may well like this, but it hasn’t converted me. I also worry how long it would last as you only get a little 10ml pot.
You know what though, I’m going to probably end up using the bottle for my foundation as this would be great to take on travels or keep in my makeup bag without taking up too much room. It would also be a great bottle to use to mix a couple of foundation colours. I can’t believe I just reviewed a new product and ended up being more excited about the container than the product itself haha. Have you tried these? What do you think?
