Wow, nearly a week has gone by already! This weekend I joined a gym, woop woop. Not only that but I managed to go to said gym on both Saturday & Sunday, long may it continue. The motivator? Stepping on the scales and seeing I’m 12stone 2. Today my knee is agony and I’m limping so I think I may have overdone it at the gym, and on Sunday I could feel my blood sugar had dropped after the gym session and made me shaky so I “had” to buy a brownie in the gym before leaving lol.
This week I’m working all 5 days and have an exciting Thursday evening planned – I’m having my Botox done finally, woohoo. This is something I’ve had done many times over the last 6 years or so and I’ll post a video link below in case you want to hear me talk about the side effects and see the before and after etc. Even more exciting to me though is that I’m getting a consultation regarding eyelid surgery at the same time, AND possibly getting some filler in my lips. Now, the filler in my lips I’m super scared about – it’s something I could be allergic to and it could look ridiculous. I’m taking the chance of doing it now because I’m off all next week for my birthday so I won’t have to see anyone if I don’t want to lol.
The below is a photo of my favourite look from the past week – Makeup geek mermaid, unexpected, and drama queen, and on that particular day I had no eye problems. My watery eyes have been hellish this past week and every time I think I’ve figured out what’s causing it, that theory gets blown out of the water and I’m back to square one. Today my eyes are not watering and I did nothing different today than yesterday, and yesterday they were streaming as soon as I got up. The palette that I’ve used pretty much every day is the Laura Mercier Eye artist palette that I got from Sephora and I adore it. That said, it may be one of those palettes that I can’t find many looks for, as there are only really two dark colours, and with one of them being a black grey that isn’t really me, it only leaves the purple look. I’d highly recommend this palette if you want some beautiful satin type shadows that are creamy and easy to blend, and are neutrals mixed with purples.
