This is why a love a sample –you can often find a little gem that you would have otherwise been unaware of. Well, not just unaware, I wouldn’t have purchased this to be honest. I got this in a Sephora order, and was intrigued at the way you use it, i.e. on dry hair but it’s a wet formula. Interesting! I’ve just had my hair chopped into a short (well, short for me) bob and a bit of oomph is exactly what I needed. I lift up the sides of my hair and spray this twice then hold the hair in place (demo video coming soon on my You Tube channel) until its dry and at the same time, kind of massage the roots. I do that in two sections on each side, and that’s it. You can get even more volume by using a teasing comb.
Now, the volume doesn’t last all day but what I’ve found and am most impressed with in this product, is that all you need to do is fluff your hair a bit your hands and voila you’ve got volume again for another little while. It doesn’t feel tacky or make your hair feel dirty as most texturising type products do either. I’m on a mission to get voluminous hair so watch this space for more wonder products, and if you are looking for a drugstore alternative the Dove oxygen moisture root lift spray is pretty good and is used on wet hair.
