Disappointingly, my botox lady wasn’t at the beauty show and in fact there were no cosmetic type procedures stalls at all. When I realised this I did think my visit might have been a waste of time, but in the end I purchased some really interesting tan and nail products which made it all worth it :0)
As you can see from the photo, the tans were from Crazy Angel and what caught my eye was how inexpensive they were, and that they have no alcohol and very little fragrance. If they are good then I will be raving about them in future posts and videos for sure!
I used two of the tans last night – the liquid one on my face – so far so good although its a bit dark for me. It applied nicely although it did have that obvious you have a tan on look, but no horrible smell on application or development, and no patchiness. Then I used the lotion that is most similar to St Tropez, on my arms. I used a mitt with this and I was surprised to find the guide colour is almost non existent when applied to skin. That doesn’t bother me at all, but may some. It blended well and again isn’t patchy and had no bad odour. Now I just have to see how long they last and how they fade. Watch this space.
For the nail products, I haven’t yet tried the nail polishes but I’m most excited to – they need a lamp to cure but no base coat, no top coat and no sticky residue! i’ve already made use of the little tools and used the nail art tool to pick up some little pink love hearts I also bought and put them on accent nails. Wow, it certainly makes it easier than using tweezers as I usually do!
